Remove the clear top cover of the G1 Plant Setup using a #2 Phillips screwdriver by hand.
Connect the turned off Plant Setup to a Windows equipped laptop with the supplied charge/data cord.
Have the .zip file you have downloaded from this product page and extracted to three files.
For simplicity, open only Windows Explorer on the computer and nothing else. Cannot use a Apple laptop as this is a Microsoft based USB flashing format.
In order to trigger bootloader mode, the plant receiver needs to perform a full bootup after six interrupted bootups. The analogy I can provide you is cycling your car ignition without starting the engine. A interrupted bootup is a bootup terminated before the bootup song ends.
Step 4 done correctly, the seventh UNINTERRUPED bootup, the module will beep seven times, then a new drive show up in Windows Explorer called G1_BOOT on the next available drive letter
In this drive you will overwrite the three files with the three new files downloaded in the zip provided from this link..
