G1 Hand Remote Code Version I _E AUGUST 7 2026

US$0.00

Here is the link to the latest firmware update tutorial video: https://youtu.be/F_zt2p0ut_w?si=PDhrkAkK1dzpvmTd

In order to update the firmware, by putting the Hand Remote in Bootloader mode, one must do the following:

  1. Connect the turned off hand remote to a Windows equipped laptop with the supplied charge/data cord.

  2. Have the .zip file you have downloaded from this product page and extracted to three files.

  3. For simplicity, open only Windows Explorer. on the computer and nothing else. Cannot use a Apple laptop as this is a Microsoft based USB flashing format.

  4. In order to trigger bootloader mode, the hand remote needs to perform a full bootup after six interrupted bootups. See video link above for reference. The analogy I can provide you is cycling your car ignition without starting the engine. A interrupted bootup is a bootup while holding the down button terminated before the bootup song ends. Or, if you have a more recent download, you can turn it off once you see the incremental number. Let me add some more context. If you have existing code A and or B, simply turn it off mid song. Code C and newer, the bootups are counted and displayed to you when you bootup holding down the bottom button at bootup.

  5. Step 4 done correctly, the seventh UNINTERRUPED bootup will have the hand remote display the word BOOTLOADER and a new drive show up in Windows Explorer called G1_BOOT on the next available drive letter

  6. In this drive you will overwrite the three files with the three new files downloaded in the zip provided from this link..

  7. File transfer takes no more than one second. Done right, it will say “FIRMWARE I_E OK!” and make all the necessary formatting changes to your memory.

  8. The above is for I_E. If you have been emailed or used a older vode version, you must use this version.

WARNING: DO NOT PUT THIS FIRMWARE ON ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE G1 HAND REMOTE AS OTHER UNITS DO NOT HAVE THE SAME COMPONENT COMBINATION

NOTE 1: YOU WILL NEED TO PERFORM A CALIBRATION ONCE TO HAVE THE NUMBERS MATCH IN 1 WAY LONG RANGE MODE.

NOTE 2: RECEIVER IS TO BE TURNED ON FIRST IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE HAND REMOTE BOOTUP SIGNAL. IF USING BUTTON DOWN NORMAL LEGACY MODE

Changes After F:

  • 1. 1 way long range signal check got moved to max dial

  • 2. 1 way long range up5 dn5 is now absolute and not incremental (its a good thing)

  • 3. 1 way long range now has min and max constrain accessibility

Changes After G & H:

  • 1. Quick boot UP mode enabled by having the dial on minimum on startup, the hand remote goes back immediately to up5 and down5.

  • Buttons have been debounced further

  • Enhance QBU

  • Firmware Success Write Prompt

  • Gamechanger Readout Optionality

  • Store future calibrations inside HR eeprom so no re-calibration is necessary after firmware update

  • Has QBU only engage if and once previously in up5dn5 mode

Changes Upcoming After I

  • Lower battery limit raides from 3700mv to 3800mv
