038 Hand Remote Code

038 Hand Remote code has an internal toggle with one feature that I have avoided writing for years and may still regret.

It goes like this. With and if the feature was activated at time of programming, the hand remote will bootup into Up5Down5 mode when the dial is minimum at hand remote startup. That means the dial doesn’t work, the buttons do.

The proper intended sequence is a guy starts the hand remote with the dial in the middle, dial works with numbers showing, Now, if the hand remote gets turned off, dial minimum bootup bypasses the dial and goes into the buttons. Dial not minimum goes into the dial.

If you have 038 code and the feature is not activated, you may request it after three months of use and instructions to activate will be supplied.

Should this feature prove troublesome, 038 will revert back to 037 and the feature will not be accessible.
